Meet your team
hi, i’m tereza
“I started my career in 2008 as a Pediatric ICU then a Pediatric ER nurse. In 2016, I was inspired to return to school to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). In 2017, I passed the rigorous International Board Certification to become a lactation consultant (IBCLC). I have worked as a WHNP in a community clinic helping medically underserved women and in a hospital-owned ObGyn practice caring for women across the lifespan. My passion currently is to dedicate most of my working time to women preparing to and currently nursing their babies.
I am a wife and mother to four children, ages 13, 10, 10, and 8. As a mother who enjoyed her journey with breastfeeding and motherhood, it is a privilege for me to support other mother's journeys
It is my honor to help women grow in confidence in their ability to nourish their babies. Breastfeeding is not always easy which is why my goal is to provide encouraging, evidence-based care to breastfeeding women here in the Louisville area.”
Tereza is now providing telehealth visits for non-urgent GYN needs.
Meet Erny!
Erny is the most gentle and encouraging nurse and lactation consultant on the planet . She is a mom of four daughters, labor and delivery nurse and, in all her free time, explorer of all things involved with homesteading and living self sustainably. She chases chickens and children at home, and cares for you and your babes at work. She loves meeting new moms for prenatal breastfeeding education visits, helping troubleshoot breastfeeding problems and providing reassurance.
Meet Yanka!
“Greetings to all! My name is Yanka Teneva and I have been a nurse for over 12 years. I was born in Bulgaria, a small European country, before moving to the US. I have been living here for the last 16 years and I have made this amazing country my new home.
Before I was a nurse, I graduated law school, but very quickly I realized this was not my calling. I wanted to help positively impact lives, heal people, and make their lives easier.
I have worked in trauma units, cancer units, and ortho units; however, my heart was elsewhere—every desire of mine was to work with babies. This had been my dream since I first got accepted into nursing school.
Working with mothers and babies is something that came very naturally to me, as I am a mother of two boys. When I delivered my oldest son 24-years ago in my home country, the idea of lactation-consulting was nonexistent.
I pursued my dream and accomplished something extremely difficult: finding a job that truly makes you excited and passionate. I have 9+ years of experience working with moms and babies, plus another 3 years of experience as an international board certified lactation consultant.
It is my pleasure to be a part of this team and will give my all to help support breastfeeding families in our community!
Meet Christine!
Christine has had personal experiences with many lactation obstacles (tongue tie, food sensitivities, and more). She found great help, peace, and inspiration from her IBCLC and mentor, Tereza Peercy.
Christine believes that every mother & baby dyad can have their own path when it comes to feeding their baby, and she wants to help support them on the way to their own happy, healthy place.
